Traveling by car

From Scotland, we thank you for making the trip down, and we are arranging travel.

From London the M40 is a good route and takes 1hr 30 mins.

Heading westward from the A40 there is a left turn into an unmarked country road. After 1 mile you will see a sign for Stone Barn on your left.

Traveling by public transport

If you are coming from London, there is a train from Paddington to Oxford. From there the S2 bus will take you all the way to Upper Windrush.

If you can planning to take public transport, do let us know so we can arrange car shares. On the wedding day we will arrange a pick up from the town of Burford to the venue. If you would like to be included, please get in contact.

Traveling by plane

Heathrow Airport is the closest. We really do appreciate the effort you are making flying into London. If you need collecting from the airport we would be happy to arrange your pick up.

Alternatively, there is the National Express OXF bus to Oxford, and then Bus S2 to Burford. The other option is to hire a car or taxi from the airport. If you would prefer one of these options, we are happy to help you arrange this.
